At the end of a tender that involved several agencies, IGD entrusted the restyling of the websites of its Shopping Centres to Canali&C. This new mandate is in addition to the one that the Ermanno Canali Agency was awarded at the beginning of the year, for the management of all the social activities of the 15 IGD centres in the three North East, Emilia and Tuscany areas.

Great ferment, particularly in the Digital Unit of Canali&C, Antonella Fidanzio, Digital Director says: “Our collaboration with IGD started quietly but grew with momentum. We began our journey with this client in a particular historical moment, not an easy one for the world of Retail Real Estate, and we immediately teamed up with our contacts to face the difficulties in the best possible way.
Receiving the invitation to the tender for the sites restyling made us proud, not only for the great opportunity but above all because it was a confirmation of the partnership we wanted to establish”.

Satisfaction also on the IGD side.
Daniele Cabuli, General Manager of IGD, comments as follows: “When we launched the tender for the restyling of the websites of our shopping centers, two were the objectives we had: to improve the user experience and to characterize the sites as one of the elements of contact with our visitors. The proposal of the Canali agency convinced us because it was able to well interpret the requests contained in our brief. It will now be possible for us to continue along the path towards an overall digital strategy, of which the sites represent one of the areas of work”.

The new sites will be completely redesigned in structure and design.
The platform that will host IGD sites will be built through WordPress CMS and hosted on the latest generation servers optimized for WP sites. The system will be conceived with a double core: a centralized one for the general technical management of the system and a peripheral one for the management of the single sites and their contents.
The platform will always be kept efficient through the unified management of software interventions. Thanks to this, technical updates will be quick and timely, helping to keep the sites performing and safe. In addition, the website will be modular: new sections and functionalities will be implemented in the platform and linked to the individual sites of the network.
The individual websites, although with centralized technical maintenance and a common core, will remain independent and managed through a dedicated back-end area separate from the others. “In other words – says Luca Buscaglia, Head of Development Canali&C – we will create a modern platform both in the technical part and in the graphic design; technically complex, but simple both in software upgrading (centralized management) and in content management (peripheral management)”.

“The design has been studied to enhance the brand at 360° – says the Creative Director of the Agency, Remo Martingano – The study of the graphics, the choice of a custom color palette and the photographic research make each site different from the other, while belonging to a single logical structure. The user experience is modern and intuitive”.
