Canali&C reorganizes itself with a collegial Creative Direction and appoints Giovanni Rubbiani and Mattia Soldà Director and deputy Creative Director

Canali&C, marketing and communication agency with offices in Reggio Emilia and Milan, changes the organization of its Creative Unit. Giovanni Rubbiani becomes Creative Director, working alongside Remo Martingano and Paola Gallotti. Mattia Soldà is appointed Deputy Creative Director and joins Barbara Bocedi. The organizational model chosen is that of collegial creative direction, in which the different skills are combined and enhanced.

Giovanni Rubbiani, Copywriter, a degree in Economics and Commerce, has been working in Canali&C for 6 years. Previously he collaborated with various agencies (Jack Blutharsky, Rmg Connect/JWT, Atomix, Freedot) and is one of the founders of the Modena City Ramblers.

New role also for Mattia Soldà, previous Art Director Supervisor, who is appointed Deputy Creative Director. Soldà, in Canali&C for 5 years, a degree in medieval art history, has worked for 15 years with communication agencies around Italy. His most significant clients and experiences include Nike, Finmeccanica, Ferretti Yacht, Nordica, Segafredo, Loacker, Ikea, New Balance, Ministry of Labour.

Remo Martingano, Architect, has worked in McCann Erickson, Lowe Pirella, Big Ideas, following projects for Armani, Vogue, Furla, Maserati, Piaggio, Vodafone. In Canali&C since October 2015, he initially held the role of Deputy Creative Director until his promotion to Executive Creative Director in 2018. DJ, set designer, curator of shows and artistic projects, he brought a 360° creative approach to the agency.

Paola Gallotti, Associate Creative Director with more than twenty years of experience in communication agencies, has worked with the same passion for Italian and international brands, multinationals and small start-ups.

Barbara Bocedi, professional and historical memory of Canali&C, Art Director of the agency for 17 years, became Deputy Creative Director in 2013. She is in charge of the operational management of the entire creative team, including coordination and progress.

The team also includes Federica Seghezzi and Simone Grassi, who have moved to the role of Art Director Supervisor.

“The complexity of communication codes requires the contribution of a plurality of thoughts and cultures”, says Ermanno Canali, President of Canali&C.  “For this reason we have decided to adopt this organizational model”.

The Creative Direction coordinates a group of 3 copywriters and 15 art directors. With this new structure the agency is preparing to face a 2020 full of inspirations and opportunities, with the acquisition of important new clients.
